This was the only picture I really took  in the Blue mosque.  It was just to dark to capture any of the beautiful work  done on the inside.  This is one that you will have to travel there your self to see,  The inside was with amazing tile work as well as the wall of stain glass windows see here.  As I mentioned it was very dark inside I was very surprised  I can’t even imagine how dark it would have been in the days of candles.  In this picture you can see there is a twisting metal structure  that hold modern electric lights.  The half seen here is actually used for prayer   and behind the lens  is where all the tourist and sight seers walk through. it was crowded even early in the morning, I would compare it to another religious sight the 16th chapel .
