This picture was taken when I first moved to NY and was still first exploring the city. It is always my favorite part of moving is you get to explore a whole new area and it has a very exciting feeling to it. after you have lived some where awhile things just start to blend in to the background of life. but exploring some where new you see every thing as a new element in your surroundings. I pass this railing all the time and only notice it now because i remember this picture I took of it but how many railings do I walk past and not even notice.
Very true. I do this all the time. We tend to direct and judge distance by a few specific points in our journey. But you can often create good srtwork from these things that you just dont notice
